Thanks for showing me love.
Thank you!

Making People Laugh Since 2009
Tont'e is the undisputed "EMPRESS of COMEDY." This trendsetting, highly-acclaimed entertainer is widely considered one of funniest female entertainers, also known as the sex therapist. Tont'e offers audiences a hilarious, yet piercing look at today's issues from a woman's perspective.
She is real and fearless in her routines, using props and tackling topics that range from the mundane to the controversial with wit, intelligence and style. Tont'e has a versatile style of comedy where she can perform in comedy clubs, churches, colleges and fashion shows. Praised by critics, respected by her peers, and adored by a diverse fan base, Tont'e Branch was born in Chicago, Illinois, the fifth child out of eight children.
Tont'e asked her mother when she was 10 years old what career she should pursue as an adult. Her mother replied: a comedian.
Tont'e is more than a comedienne — she's a writer, producer, and entrepreneur. She is currently writing a book and started her own advertising magazine. Tont'e is smart, funny, talented and sexy with a giving heart. In 2005 she wrote a song to help raise money for the hurricane Katrina victims.
In 2009, she went to the Palmetto Comedy House in Charleston, SC, where she decided to get back on stage. The audience and club owners found her hilarious with her unique, shocking style of comedy — the club owner offered Tont'e a hosting job on the spot.
She also started her own Couples Comedy Game Show — an instant success. Tont'e has featured alongside comedians including Michael Blackson, Joe Torry, Nephew Tommy, Barbara Carlyle, Charles "Ice Cream" Washington, Shaun Jones, Shawn Cornelius, Mario Torry, Marvin Hunter, Big Mo Dixon and many more.
Tont'e is currently a comedy headliner, producer and game show host in Charleston, SC, Chicago, IL and nationwide. She performs all types of comedy — including clean comedy — making her the perfect fit for any audience, any event, and any stage. She has graced the stages of Wise Guys in Las Vegas, the Laugh Factory, Riddles Comedy Club in Chicago, Comedy Cabana in Myrtle Beach, Pilot's Lounge in Summerville SC, Huger's and Aria in Charleston SC, the Grand Ballroom Chicago, and venues all over the country.
Her Journey
At a time when Tont'e was strongly in demand and receiving comedy and travel opportunities, she made the heartfelt decision to step away from the stage to care for her elderly parents. As a devoted daughter and caregiver, family came first.
That season required sacrifice, patience, strength, and love. Although she missed many opportunities during that time, the experience gave her a deeper understanding of life, family, healing, responsibility, and resilience.
Now, Tont'e has returned to comedy with a renewed purpose, a stronger voice, and a powerful new perspective. Her journey as a mother, wife, daughter, caregiver, and entertainer has added depth, wisdom, and truth to her comedy.
Today, Tont'e brings more than jokes to the stage — she brings real-life experience, healing laughter, bold honesty, and comedy that connects with people where they truly live. Her time away did not dim her gift; it sharpened it. Now she is back with a style of comedy that is raw, real, relatable, relevant, and unforgettable.
Praised by critics, respected by her peers, and adored by a diverse fan base.
